Kentucky Utilities was beginning their CCR program at the Ghent facility. This was a unique project, as the site layout was not conducive to all the work that needed to be done. Extensive engineering and design were required to use the property adjacent to the existing power plant, along with land across the highway of the existing power plant. The Inert Fines portion of the work was carved out of the existing scope after some work had already begun adding a level of complexity to the equation.
