The Westin Anaheim Resort was a 9 story resort project that took about 1 year from detailing to completion of structural steel.

Besides the normal beams and columns it contained large trusses which were fabricated, shipped, and erected in 1 piece. There were also many barreled roofs made of structural steel which had to be rolled. The corners of the barreled roofs were challenging to fabricate and erect from structural steel members.

The project site was very tight with a small footprint outside of the buildings that many different cranes and pick points had to use to avoid disrupting the ongoing business of neighboring buildings. Our experienced erector assisted greatly with this challenge.
