44th and Camelback
The 44 & Camelback development is a mixed-use project situated at the northwest corner of Camelback Road and 44th Street in Phoenix. Building G, that consists of a campus, featuring a two-story structure with 70,000 square feet and 375 tons of expansive glazing, masonry, GFRC panels, EIFS, and metal canopies. The scope of work included management, detailing, material procurement, fabrication, erection, joists, metal decking, stairs, and miscellaneous metals. Despite the challenges of working at a busy intersection with limited onsite laydown space and concurrent construction activities, the project was successfully completed by working with the field on site logistics, detailed planning, and direct coordination with contractors and other trades. Frequent on-site meetings and scheduling ensured smooth deliveries and efficient execution, resulting in completing a 2-story mix of office and classroom structure.
