Louisville Gas & Electric had begun a large Air Quality Control project at Mill Creek Generating Station, the largest facility in the LG&E fleet. The project consisted of a (4) unit Wet FGD System, with associated baghouses for each unit. The contract was awarded to an EPC who hired GrayWolf to perform critical, specialty welding tasks, lining of Units 1-4 PJFF ductwork and subassembly of Units 1 and 2 WFGD turrets.
